For spaces where water damage from an accidental sprinkler activation would be catastrophic, specialized systems are required. Our Pre-action and Deluge systems offer a higher level of control and protection.

Pre-action Systems:

• How it Works: A two-step system. The pipes are filled with air. To activate, two events must occur: a heat or smoke detection system must signal a fire, and the sprinkler head itself must activate. This reduces the risk of accidental water discharge from a single point of failure (e.g., a broken sprinkler head).
• Best for: Computer server rooms, libraries, museums, and other areas with high-value or water-sensitive assets.

Deluge Systems:

• How it Works: All sprinkler heads on the pipe are open. When a fire is detected by an independent system (e.g., a smoke detector), a main valve is triggered, releasing a flood of water through all the sprinkler heads simultaneously.
• Best for: High-hazard environments like aircraft hangars, chemical plants, and power plants, where a fire can spread rapidly and requires a full-area flood of water for suppression.
