Breeching Inlets (2-way / 4-way)

A crucial connection point for firefighting professionals. Our breeching inlets allow the Fire Department to pump water into a building’s dry riser system, ensuring a high-pressure water supply for internal firefighting.

A breeching inlet is an external connection point through which the Fire Department can supply water to a building’s dry or wet riser system. This allows them to quickly and efficiently pump water to all floors, bypassing the need for a separate water source for each level.

How it Works: The inlet is a large valve with two or four hose connections, typically located on the ground floor. Firefighters can connect their high-pressure pumps to this inlet, pressurizing the building’s internal riser system.

Key Features:

  • High-Flow Capacity: Designed to handle a high volume of water under pressure.
  • 2-Way & 4-Way Options:
    • 2-Way: For smaller buildings or those with a single riser.
    • 4-Way: Provides a higher water flow rate, ideal for multi-storey buildings or large industrial sites.
  • Secure Connections: Standard couplings ensure a secure and leak-proof connection with fire brigade hoses.
  • Durable & Tamper-Resistant: Constructed from robust materials like cast iron or gunmetal to protect against damage and unauthorized use.
